Waltzing Mouse BlogParty

Party Time over at the Waltzing Mouse and there is plenty of time to join. For all the info you need just click HERE.
This month's challenge is to use felt or cozy fabric on your card.
I made my heart embellishment from something very cozy -  a glimmer "fiber" called Angelina that I sometimes use with my students when we work with embroidery. It is fun and "festive" to use as it is or you can mix fibers from different colors to get really cool effects .You shape your "wool"and then iron it to fixate it. You can also give your piece of Angelina "fabric" texture using your rubberstamps - but I'll have to come back with a tutorial for that when work has slowed down. My rose is also fabric and handmade from a  bias strip (-:

The WMStamps I've used are from Gingham and CO and Fancy Frames.
I used the colors + photo at The RibbonGirls as inspiration and
I'm entering this card for the flower challenge at YCU.
Have a great day and a great party, hugs, Karin

Gingham Flower!

I know - everyone loves gingham - and I can't help it - I do too so I just had to make a card for the Card Creations Gingham challenge at Moxie Fab World.

I dusted off my Layered flowers that I LOVE but haven't used for ages for A blog named Hero and I used stamps from Waltzing Mouse; Gingham and Co for the bg, the flower and the flag. The flag is a favorite from Hero Arts.
I used a doily so I'll show this off for the Moxie Fab Doily challenge too and it fits the Birthday theme at Hero Arts .

Merci!

Today I have a Thank You card for one of Paper and Such Birthday celebrations challenges. I used stickers from EAD and the colors from their May challenge.

I used stripes for Emergency Crafters and am also entering it for the anything goes at Just keep on creating.

Have a great Sunday, hugs, Karin

Hurrah for You my Prince!!!

There's a new challenge at Sir Stampalot and it sounded so much fun I had to make a card right away!!!
It is called Medals and Monarchs + red, blue and white and this is my take:

I combined it with the London challenge (how I wished I'd had one of those wonderful PB London stamps now (-: - had to think colors and Olympic theme instead...) at Penny Black and More - I used spots and stripes for Emergency crafters and it isn't girly for Totally Papercrafts. I'm also entering this for the Gingham challenge at Moxie Fab World!

Have a great day, hugs, Karin
